Knowledge: the graduate knows and understands
S_W01 to an in-depth degree chosen facts, theories, processes, and phenomena related to the study areas relevant to the teaching of social studies: politics, administration and public policy studies, social sciences, public communication and media studies, law, which have practical application in teaching social studies at the third educational stage
S_W17 to a significant extent, the process of interpersonal communication and social patterns in French
Skills: the graduate is able to
S_U01 search, analyse, evaluate, select and use information, using a variety of sources and methods, including advanced information and communication techniques, in French
S_U18 communicate in French, conduct a debate using a variety of channels and techniques, with all participants in the teaching-learning process and experts in those academic disciplines that are relevant to the field of studies - foreign language teaching
S_U20 prepare, and deliver in public, oral presentations in French, for specific purposes, using advanced theoretical approaches, as well as a variety of sources
S_U21 speak and write consistently and precisely in French on topics related to educational matters, applying different theoretical approaches and using findings from other disciplines related to the field of studies

Assessment criteria
Student passes the course by demonstrating the appropriate number of attendances (one absence per semester in classroom sessions is permitted), active participation in classes, and passing individual competencies in the following proportions:
Speaking 25%
Writing 25%
Reading 25%
Listening comprehension 25%

The winter semester ends with a grade based on the above-mentioned four competencies, with a minimum of 60% required in each competency.
The following constitute the final grade:
60-70% 3.0 dostateczny
71-76% 3,5 dostateczny plus
77 -86% 4,o dobry
87-92% 4.5 dobry plus
93-98% 5.0 bardzo dobry
99-100% 5! celujący
An excellent grade (5!) is awarded to a student who meets the requirements of the program at 100% according to the above scale, and additionally shares knowledge and skills beyond the program, showing an interest in continuously expanding their competencies through documented and observable efforts.
