The workshop course showcases contemporary digital tools used in asynchronous (self-study) and remote (synchronous) education. The students prepare their own teaching materials and micro-lessons using the presented digital tools and educational platforms. The aim of the course is to prepare the students for working in a modern, digital and constantly changing educational reality.
The specific lesson topics are updated in subsequent academic years in order to reflect the most contemporary new educational technology.

KNOWLEDGE: the graduate knows and understands
K_W03 innovative ideas and techniques of integrated teaching of languages and content subjects
K_W04 the methods (based on education research), norms, procedures and standards of practice in various educational institutions, including institutions of higher education, related to teaching foreign languages
K_W10 the methodology to perform common tasks, based on education research; the standards and procedures used in various pedagogic and educational areas
SKILLS: the graduate is able to
K_U02 individually plan and implement, using also communication and information techniques, typical and innovative projects connected with teaching foreign languages in secondary schools, vocational schools, in adult and higher education and in other educational institutions involved in teaching foreign languages
K_U05 perform educational tasks using digital tools, methods of remote communication and various media
K_U07 assess the suitability of a variety of methods, procedures and best practices, and select and apply the appropriate approach with the goal of accomplishing tasks and solving problems related to foreign language teaching
SOCIAL COMPETENCES: the graduate is prepared to
K_K02 critically reflect on the level of their skills and knowledge, constantly develop professionally and personally, self-assess their competences, improve their skills, plan their development and training, consult experts in case of difficulties
K_K07 correctly identify the priorities for the implementation of specified tasks
Assessment criteria
Passing conditions:
- class attendance - one absence is permitted
- completion of all tasks (classroom and home assignments)
- earning at least 60% of points from all tasks in total
The final grade is a weighted average calculated from all graded tasks.
