The class topics include the following:
- Introduction to the human voice
- Voice emission basics: mind , body, breath and voice
- Tension and relaxation of the body – exercises to understand the difference in vocal production
- Breathing mechanisms - exercises to develop the right breathing habits
- Being understood clearly – group and individual articulation exercises
- Speaking (or how to speak) to influence and inspire the class - group and individual exercises
- Controlling stress and emotions during public speaking - group and individual exercises
- Voice hygiene

S_W02
The student should know the necessary terminology in the field of voice emission. Is able to describe the structure of the voice organ and the mechanisms of voice creation
S_W20
The student knows the principles of proper voice emission and the functioning of the speech and voice apparatus.
• Has the ability to breathe the rib-diaphragm path and efficient coordination of breathing with the work of the articulation apparatus
• Efficiently uses resonators and accents to enhance the sound and expression
• Efficiently uses speech dynamics
• Can prevent speech apparatus fatigue and take care of voice hygiene
• Knows the dangers of incorrect voice usage
S_U02
The student uses his voice consciously. Can recognize incorrect voice emission and diction habits. He understands the relationship and impact of mental processes on the quality of voice and sees the relationship between correct posture, mind and breath with the correct voice emission.
Can differentiate the state of tension and relaxation of the speech process.
S_U18
the student is able to present loosening and stabilizing posture exercises. He can perform breathing, phonation and diction exercises.
Knows the correct habits of using the speech organ
S_K02
The student can set directions for further work on the voice. Is aware of his own potential and limitations in voice emission process. Appreciates the benefits of proper voice emission and hygiene. He is able to care for the clarity of speech and appreciates its impact on the image of the speaker.

Class participation and activities will be evaluated
Assessment criteria:
1. Attendance at classes: for the grade 5- a minimum of 80% of the attendance,
for the grade 4: at least 70% of the attendance, for the grade 3: at least 50% of the attendance.
2. Activity in classes: participation in discussions, participation in exercises,
work in pairs and groups, homework.
