The subject covers education in the field of language knowledge, with particular emphasis on the role of French language grammar in fulfilling its communicative function.
Course Objectives:
Discourse functions of individual language forms at the sentence and discourse level from a glottodidactic perspective, in terms of teaching/learning a foreign language.
Language teaching methods, with special emphasis on the inductive method and task-based approach.
Linking teaching methods to contemporary theories in the field of foreign language acquisition.
Developing students' language awareness through performing tasks of a mediative nature, using various forms of work.
Utilizing a contrastive approach within integrated glottodidactics.
Topics of the classes:
1. Noun: types of nouns, number, gender.
2. Adjective: number, gender, comparison.
3. Noun determiners: indefinite, definite, contracted, partitive articles.
4. Possessive adjectives.
5. Demonstrative adjectives.
6. Personal pronouns: conjunctive, disjunctive, direct object (COD), indirect object (COI).
7. Pronouns "en" and "y".
8. Cardinal and ordinal numbers.
9. Formation of adverbs and their forms.
10. Conjugation of auxiliary, regular, irregular, and reflexive verbs.
11. Declarative sentences.
12. Interrogative sentences.
13. Imperative sentences.
14. Negative sentences.
15. Tenses: present, future, and past.

Knowledge: The graduate knows and understands:

advanced facts, processes, phenomena in the field of French grammar, relevant to the teaching of foreign languages oriented towards practical applications in teaching foreign languages in preschool, primary, and secondary education.

necessary terminology in the field of French grammar, appropriate for teaching foreign languages.

significantly, the processes of interpersonal and social communication in Polish and French, their regularities, and disruptions.
Skills: The graduate can:
S_U01
search, analyze, evaluate, select, and use information using various sources and methods in Polish and French.
S_U09
analyze their own actions and identify areas requiring changes in future activities.
Social competences: The graduate is ready to:

engage in lifelong learning.
S_K02
reflect on the level of their knowledge and skills, engage in continuous professional development and personal growth, self-assess their competencies, and improve their skills, setting directions for their own development and education.
Assessment criteria
The student obtains a pass based on:
1. Attendance in classes - the limit of unexcused absences is 2,
2. Preparation and active participation in classes:
- the student knows and uses language forms appropriate to the communicative situation (S_W01, S_W16, S_U02, S_K02)
- the student recognizes syntactic relationships in a sentence (S_W02)
- the student creates oral and written statements (S_U01)
- the student processes information in short texts and iconographic materials (S_U01) – 20% of the final grade.
3. Timely and correct execution of tasks on the Kampus UW platform (S_W01, S_W16, S_U02, S_K02, S_W02) – 20% of the final grade.
4. Passing 3 tests with at least 60% (S_U09) – 60% of the final grade.

90-100% - 5
85-89% - 4.5
75-84% - 4
70-74% - 3.5
60-69% - 3
0-59% - 2
