Knowledge: the graduate knows and understands
- at a basic level, selected facts, processes, phenomena from the field of science and scientific disciplines: linguistics, in particular phonetics of the French language, oriented towards practical applications in the field of teaching foreign languages in kindergarten, at the first and/or second stage of education (S_W01)
- basic terminology in the field of phonetics, phonetic correction in teaching French (S_W02)
- to a significant extent what is the role of knowledge of phonetics in the process of interpersonal and social communication in French. Is able to interpret regularities and disruptions in the act of communication at the level of the phonic subsystem of the language (S_W16)
Skills: the graduate is able to:
- effectively search, analyze, evaluate, select and use linguistic information regarding phonetics using various sources and methods in Polish and French (S_U01)
- independently acquire knowledge and develop skills related to learning and teaching correct pronunciation of French (S_U02)
- analyze and evaluate your own activities in the field of perception and articulation of French sounds and indicate possible areas that require correction (S_U09)
- use acquired phonetic skills in oral speeches and speak freely and correctly to strangers using various intonation, rhythm and accent patterns (S_U14)
- use the speech apparatus in accordance with the principles of voice emission (S_U18)
Social competences: the graduate is prepared to:
- learn and develop his language competences (phonetic correctness) throughout his life (S_K01)
- reflect and self-assess his knowledge and skills, further education and improve acquired competences useful in his future professional work (S_K02)
- interact and work in a group, performing various roles (S_K05)
- correctly identify the priorities for the implementation of tasks set by oneself or others (S_K06)
Assessment criteria
Auditory perception exercises and repetition exercises. Individual work. Exercises in the basics of phonetic transcription and in the transition from spoken language to written language (mastering phonographic relations).
The basis for passing the exercises is:
a) attendance at classes, the student has the right to 2 absences, 4 absences the student loses the right to pass the course and must repeat it.
b) active participation in classes (20% of the final evaluation)
c) own work - autonomous implementation of exercises to be performed independently (20% of the final evaluation)
Oral tests (perception and pronunciation) – (30% of final evaluation)
Written tests (learning the principles of phonetic transcription and phonographic relations) – (30% of the final evaluation
The required minimum level of competence in the audio subsystem is 60%.
