Photography and visual language - an introductory workshop for scientists 4030-PaVL

2) “I see, I see, … I SEE: three steps towards conscious perception.”
3) “Photography: from basic introduction to lifelong passion.”
4) “Visual language: basic technical skills and tools” (composition, light, perspective, bw and colours, selected topics and circumstances)
5) “Photography and Science”
6) “My poster, my way – how visually communicate science.”
This course is organised around those six fundaments, but they will be freely mixed during consecutive meetings, so it is not a thematic program point by point but rather a general frame to organize the information given.

Assessment criteria
Assessment is based on activity during the course (small photo exercises, participation in the discussions), final portfolio (individual project) and short quiz about the basic knowledge.
