After completing the course the student has in-depth knowledge and understanding of:
- key perspectives, issues and debates in the area of environmental justice;
- the issue of vulnerability in the context of environmental injustices.
After completing the course, the student is able to:
- analyze critically scientific and journalistic texts on environmental justice topics;
- identify, interpret and analyze adequately ethical problems in the area of socio-environmental conflicts;
- conduct an analysis of a socio-environmental conflict, including in countries of the Global South, from environmental justice perspective;
After completing the course the student is ready to:
- - recognize the importance of environmental justice in contemporary debates on sustainability;
- participate in a debate on environmental justice issues;
- work in a team.
