1. EU cohesion policy - introduction and basic concepts. Goals and principles of regional policy. Structural funds and the Cohesion Fund - genesis and essence.

2. Structural funds, Cohesion Fund, other EU and European funds - legal acts, financial resources, program documents.

3. Implementation of the EU cohesion policy at the national level - national legal acts and program documents. Institutional system. Operational programs. Types of projects. Appeal system.

4. Recognition of EU funds in the national system of public finance. System of transferring funds to beneficiaries.

Prerequisites (description)

(in Polish) Celem przedmiotu jest zapoznanie słuchaczy ze specyfiką zarządzania projektami, które realizowane są w ramach tzw. polityki strukturalnej Unii Europejskiej. Poprzez analizowanie konkretnych projektów słuchacza poznają, jakie działania przyczyniają się do poprawy życia lokalnych i regionalnych społeczności, a jakie inwestycje okazały się nietrafione.

Colloquium in the form of a test, taking into account prepared project work.
