Basics of protection properties intellectual 3900-POWI
Intellectual property law refers to a group of laws that protect intanigle goods. The category is not homogenous. The notion comprises copyright law as well as industrial property law such as patent and protective rights to trademarks. The lecture focuses only on the construction of the main exclusive rights and the basic principles of their protection. The lecture also explains the claims to which the owner of these rights is entitled. The establishment of the EC heavily influenced intellectual property law. Students are specifically taught how the basic principle of free movement of goods changed contemporary intellectual property law.

The course is passed on the basis of a final written test on the internet platform.. Marks depend on the number of correct answers. A positive mark is awarded if 60 percent of the answers are correct.
