Second Language and Culture of India 3600-7-IN2-IIJKIS1
The first of the two semesters of the course of second Indian language. Basic level. For Sanskrit groups – Bengali/Hindi/Tamil, for Modern groups – Sanskrit.
The course begins from learning the phonetics and writing system and consists of the elements of descriptive grammar and practical skills.
In the case of Modern language – training in reading, writing, speaking and listening. Learning how to use Bengali/Hindi/Tamil in everyday conversations at the basic level.
In the case of Sanskrit – learning to read simple texts at a basic level.
