This class is an extension of the Late Egyptian Grammar lecture. The aim is reading of Late Egyptian texts (literary, historical, economical) and their analysis in the linguistic and cultural context.

Learning outcomes
The student should:
Knowledge:
- recognize and analyze the grammatical constructions of the Late Egyptian;
- have the basic knowledge about the translation of the Late Egyptian texts;
Skills:
- read the Late Egyptian texts;
- know how to use the reference works (dictionaries, grammars);
Competence:
- understand the meaning of the Late Egyptian for the culture of Ancient Egypt.

- Semester papers (translation of a text with the grammatical commentary).
