Arabic Grammar 3600-7-AR2-GJA2
The course of Arabic Grammar is aimed to practice the grammatical rules provided at the lecture "The Knowledge of the Arabic Language." During the course students acquaint with: numerals, irregular verbs, attributives, types of objects, adverbials, various types of syntactic structures, conjunctions.

KNOWLEDGE. Alumnus
K_W12 has extensive knowledge of Arabic (its/their structure, history, script)
K_W13 is aware of the complex nature of Arabic, its place and significance in the cultural and historical context of a region
K_W14 is aware of the linguistic variety and its influence on the cultural and political situation of the world
K_W15 has rudimentary knowledge of translation rules from Arabic into Polish
SKILLS. Alumnus
K_U12 has a good command of Arabic at the B2 level
K_U14 can translate literary texts and writings from Arabic into Polish
K_U15 can interpret key terms from a chosen culture of Arab countries through linguistic/philological analysis
K_U16 can fluently use the script and the necessary tools to learn and analyze it (traditional and electronic dictionaries, lexicons, linguistic corpora, data bases, etc.)
K_U17 can properly function in the linguistic and cultural environment of Arab countries
K_U22 has a skill at formulating own opinions and conclusions in writing and in speech both in Polish and in Arabic
K_U24 can use electronic and internet tools both in Polish and in Arabic

Assessment criteria
continuous assessment (the current preparation for classes and activities),
- written tests,
- end of semester written test,
- the final written test or oral exam
- attendance control - a student can be absent max. twice during the semester; in the case of absence due to illness, the medical certificate excusing this absence should be submitted within seven work days of the last day of the leave specified in the certificate.
