The classes are aimed at improving pronunciation, writing in accordance with the rules of spelling, and speaking at a basic level, as well as practicing the use of basic grammatical structures which are necessary to make correct sentences in Hausa. The curriculum is based on the textbook for learning the language (R.Cowan & R.Schuh "Spoken Hausa", New York , 1976) with modifications such as updating information on the communicative aspects of the language and adapting the content to the didactic needs of Polish students.
