American Literature and Film - MA Seminar 2 3301-LAS2ZIA02
During the seminar, participants will be introduced to the theories of literary and cultural studies. Selected literary and/or cultural texts will be discussed to familiarize students with methodologies for text interpretation. The seminar program will prepare students for independent research at the master's level, developing their ability to think critically and write about American culture, society, and media, both past and present. The seminar will also introduce concepts and methodologies related to film studies and film adaptation. Additionally, it offers a historical introduction to American cinema and its major genres.
