Knowledge:
- the student has a structured knowledge of Russian culture;
- student knows the specificity of Russian culture;
- student knows the most outstanding works of Russian culture.
Skills:
- the student is able to characterise the main currents of Russian culture;
- a student is able to express his opinion on the most important monuments of Russian culture;
- he/she can indicate the influences shaping Russian culture.
Social competences:
- the student understands the need to deepen knowledge of Russian culture;
- student is aware of the uniqueness of Russian cultural heritage and its place
Assessment criteria
Evaluation methods and criteria:
continuous assessment, activity in class (20% of the final mark), preparation of a presentation on a given topic (20% of the final mark)
Credit test at the end of the semester (60% of the final mark) - all elements of the assessment must be passed with a positive mark.
Oral examination.

The student: characterises the issue using a variety of determinants, cites the names of representatives (also supporting characters), demonstrates detailed knowledge of the presented content of readings and performances, carries out a comprehensive analysis of the phenomenon, provides various research positions. The speech is spontaneous, comprehensive, thoughtful, the student uses specialist terminology freely.

The student: characterises the issue to a limited extent, demonstrates basic knowledge of the contents presented, carries out an analysis at a basic level, mentions only some representatives, indicates only the constitutive features. The speech is fragmented; it consists of unconnected information, the student requires guidance from the examiner.
Requirements for a mark of 5!
- 3points for each question,
- 3points for each question, plus: knowledge and skills outside the curriculum.
The student has the right to 2 unexcused absences, each subsequent one requires justification. The lecturer decides on the recognition of absence.
Exceeding excused and unexcused absences by 50% of classes may be grounds to fail the course.
The conditions for passing the course on the resit exam are the same as on the ordinary of exam.
If it is not possible to conduct classroom classes, classes will be conducted using distance communication tools, most likely Google Classroom and others recommended by the University of Warsaw.
