Greek Class 3006-PNJG2-P
Above all in the third semester the student develops their knowledge about the Greek inflection and syntax. The fourth semester is devoted to reading of texts of the higher level of difficulty (such as by Plato, Xenophont and dialogue parts of tragedies and comedies). In addition the student broadens their knowledge about the Greek and Rome history, literature and culture. They also get abilities which allow them to take an active part in the specialist translatories, seminars and are essential for the scholar’s work. The classes prepare the students for reading of original texts on high level of difficulty on their own. During the classes the students study the basic philological research tools and works’ methods.
