The role of the book in social communication - selected issues 2700-M-PW-D2RKWKS
A history of the social and mental consequences of changing media technology. Landmark moments in the social impact of the book. Relationships occurring between bibliology and the development of sciences; the importance of the production of writing with the development of science (primarily university), based on book erudition. Selected European and world cultural institutions that have been established in the last 300 years; their contribution to the integration of culture in the world.
The main goal of the classes is to analyze those moments in the history of a book, which determined the fact that it conquered new spaces for itself and shaped the human world more and more. On the other hand the classes are to point out the religious, political, economic and intellectual context of the book's social role. Individual topics:

Learning outcomes
The student has structured general knowledge, including terminology, theories and methodologies in the fields of science and scientific disciplines specific to the field of study under study, knows and understands the basic methods of analysis and interpretation of the various cultural creations specific to the selected traditions, theories or research schools in the fields of science and scientific disciplines specific to the field of study under study.
He knows how to acquire knowledge and develop research skills in the field of bibliology and computer science, following the guidance of a scientific guardian. It can identify different types of cultural creations specific to the discipline studied in the humanities and conduct their critical analysis and interpretation using typical methods to determine their meaning, social impact, place in the historical and cultural process. He has the ability to argue substantively in the field of bibliology and computer science, using the views of other authors and formulating conclusions.
