Psychology of media business 2700-M-LM-Z4PBME
The aim of the course is to provide students with the possibility of using knowledge in the field of psychology in the analysis, design and implementation of business activities of media enterprises. Classes are based on the foundation of theoretical knowledge necessary in the later - practical use of it. Examples of the use of theory in practice allow to depict the essence of psychology in media activities. The course discusses individual determinants of the individual's behavior, the social mechanisms of individual behavior - the group's influence on individuals and individuals per group, and the mechanisms of business operations in the context of consumer decisions and the shaping of relationships in the company.
The essence of the course is the skillful use of psychological knowledge in media activities.

After completing the course, students:
can properly apply knowledge and psychological mechanisms in media business activities
KNOWLEDGE:
has extended knowledge of psychology in particular in the field of socio-media activities
- knows selected methods and techniques allowing to construct and describe business structures

can analyze the interpretation of psychosocial phenomena and use them in the media

can independently apply psychological knowledge in media business activities.
