The purpose of exercises is to prepare students to work as a press photographer working for agency, portraitist, a photographer of architecture and interior design, landscape and sports

KNOWLEDGE
1. student knows the issues of photographer’s ethics and the basis of the legal aspects of photojournalism.
2. knows what is the construction of photojournalism. Can find a topic and to prepare for it.
3. understands the specifics of photojournalism, working with a journalist.
4. has a basic knowledge of the role of light, composition, choosing the right moment during the shooting.
5. knows what is the difference in the work of a photographer for newspapers, magazines, photo agencies.
SKILLS
1. is able to perform a series of photo-images on a specific topic.
2. He can do proper releases of a single picture - portrait, photo reportage, news.
3. can choose between own photos and justify it; knows what is a good news photo.
4. knows how to properly archive photographs.
5. can gather notes and information in the shooting.
OTHER Competences
1. Student has a general knowledge needed to start working as press photographer or photo agency in the editorial.
Assessment criteria
Attendance and performance of all the photographic work. The class is preceded by a brief theoretical introduction. Tasks are assessed based on the completed photographic projects.
