Students are thoroughly prepared for the comprehensive use of a variety of information technologies in the creative development and publication of multimedia materials on the Internet. During the conducted classes, students have the opportunity not only to learn about a wide range of multimedia technologies, but also to develop their creative design skills using a wide range of audio, video editing and online publishing tools. In particular, these classes focus on developing skills in working with video, audio and graphic materials, using professional programs offered within the Adobe Creative suite.
In the context of these classes, creativity plays a key role, and students are encouraged to use their imagination and originality in presenting content. Importantly, with access to free software available online, students have the opportunity to develop their creative skills without having to invest in expensive tools.
The tools of the Adobe Creative suite play an important role in these classes, offering extensive video, audio and graphics editing capabilities. Students gain skills in working with both raster and vector graphic files, using tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create and edit graphics. In addition, students learn scripting and storytelling using video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro [1].
In addition, students learn how to use materials with Creative Commons and public domain licenses. In this class, they gain knowledge on how to find legally available content and how to use it properly, respecting copyright and ethics. As part of this course, students also explore websites using artificial intelligence to explore the potential of this technology in pattern recognition, automatic content generation and data analysis. Students have the opportunity to use these tools to enrich their projects and create innovative solutions.
Through participation in these classes, students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively use information technology in the process of creating and publishing multimedia materials. They become creative, flexible and informed professionals, ready to achieve success in their work.
In these classes, students also have the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in information technology and multimedia. KNOWLEDGE:
Students will gain knowledge of the complex use of information technology in the creative development and publication of multimedia materials on the Internet.
They will become familiar with various multimedia technologies, which will allow them to better understand and use a variety of tools in working on multimedia projects.
Students will have the opportunity to explore working on video, sound and graphics using professional programs from the Adobe Creative suite.
They will learn about the use of materials with Creative Commons and public domain licenses, gaining knowledge about legal use of content, respect for copyright and ethics.
They explore websites with artificial intelligence implemented to learn about the potential of this technology in pattern recognition, automatic content generation and data analysis.
SKILLS:
Students will develop creative design skills that will enable them to effectively develop and present multimedia content.
They will gain the ability to use audio, video and online publishing editing tools, which will allow them to professionally process multimedia materials.
They will gain the ability to work on graphic files, both raster and vector, using programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
They will learn scripting and storytelling with cinematic images, using video editing tools in programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
They will gain the ability to search for and properly use legally available content, taking into account copyright and ethics.

Assessment criteria
The final grade consists of:
- Class attendance (2 unexcused absences are allowed - excuses according to the rules and regulations adopted at UW).
Final exam: making two short films, from the same materials for all students in the group, according to strict guidelines.
Three partial grades:
- Very Good (5) - 1 material made according to the assumptions
- Very Good (5) - 2 material made according to the assumptions
- Additional grade for quality, aesthetics and used capabilities of the video editing application
A component of the class may also include work on the Design of a simple website with specific elements.
Two partial grades:
Very Good (5) - the site contains the specified elements
Additional grade for quality, aesthetics and used capabilities of the application/template.
In the case of completion of the Project:
Exam 50%
Project 50%
Adobe programs are licensed by the university, but it is possible to work on your own computer/laptop after approval of the lecturer.
The grade may be increased or decreased based on the student's activity and involvement in class, including the performance of sub-projects or presentations.
The final grade of the course is a weighted average of the partial grades.
There is no possibility of improving a passing grade.
Successful completion of the course requires successful completion of all parts of the course and projects.
