Logistics infrastructure 2700-L-LM-D4INLO
In the course of the seminar students will learn:
- history of infrastructure projects from ancient times, i.e. Egypt, Greece, Rome, to the times of urban investments of S. Starynkiewicz and J. Dietl,
- definitions and subject matter of infrastructure, specifically the following topics:
Infrastructure as production support, infrastructure system in production, categorization keys and types of infrastructure companies and institutions,
- media convergence and media logistics as an integrator of activities in the field of contemporary means of communication.
A special thematic block is the policy of sustainable development, including the tasks of modern infrastructure in the field of environmental protection, smart city, resilient city, self-renewable energy, ecological transport, reduction of Co2 emissions.

After completing the seminar the student: should have a general understanding of the role of infrastructure in civilization system of exchange of goods and information, as in the scale of the state and its importance in the international economic turnover; media, services, energy supply, fuel and transport, ecology and recycling

Assessment criteria
The seminar is conducted as a combination of lecture and discussion with students. The credit requires attendance at classes (one absence does not require an excuse), additionally scored is the activity in discussion and ability to ask questions. Grades 4.5 and 5 must be supported by a good result (optional, agreed at the beginning of the course): the test from the range discussed in conversations, participation in group work, or writing an essay on a selected topic.
