Psychology of information behavior 2700-L-API-Z2PZI
During the course, students learn about theoretical assumptions related to the psychological aspects of informational behavior. There will be presented theories, models, and concepts that emphasize the importance of affective factors on the user's behavior interacting with information in various professional or everyday situations. Students will also learn the basics of research in this area. Their work will also include the analysis of scientific articles presenting the state of research on the psychological aspects of informational behavior.

Has systematic, detailed knowledge in the field of book and information science
Has basic knowledge of main development lines and most important achievements in book and information science and the disciplines proper for library science and scientific information.

Is capable of information retrieval, analysis, evaluation, selection, and usage, acquiring it from various sources and by various methods, appropriate to own needs and needs of other users
Knows how to prepare typical oral presentations in Polish and a foreign language generally accepted as basic for book and information studies, with relation to detailed issues, utilizing basic theoretical projections and various sources.

Correctly identifies and resolves dilemmas related to performing the jobs of librarian and information specialist.
