Learning outcomes
Knowledge
1) The student uses scientific and specialist terms related to the discussed issues correctly.
2) The student knows the output of information science within the scope set in the curriculum.
3) The student has a basic knowledge on information ecology as a scientific discipline and a platform of solving information problems.
4) The student knows the most important means and methods of researching information behaviors of the participants of the social information environment.
Skills
1) The student is able to use the basic methodological concepts and terms specific to information ecology.
2) The student is able to select appropriate methods for solving information problems, correctly interpret and present the results and create proper documentation, placing the project in the professional and scientific output.
3) The student is able to formulate simple research issues related to the subject’s problematic aspects.
Social competences
1) The student is aware of the necessity of constantly developing their knowledge and skills in response to the development of science, the changes occurring in the information environment and in the information users behavior.
2) The student attempts to solve information problems with the application of the output of science and information practice.
