The World of Numbers 2600-SL-OG
The course contains:
- properties of counting numbers (integers), the divisibility tests and the properties of prime numbers and their use (the basic theorem of algebra);
- the construction of the set of rational numbers, infinite summations and some classical logical paradoxes based on infinity;
- properties of subsets of the set of real numbers;
- the information on complex numbers and numerical fields.
The course needs: approx. 2-4 hours weekly.
