The program includes:
I. GENERAL CONCEPT OF PROPHYLAXIS
• Definitions, variations, prevention goals
• Risk factors and protection factors inherent in the global environment, local, family, school, group, unit
• Basic concepts, strategies and prevention models
II RISK BEHAVIOR AND PROPHYLAXIS
Discussing selected risk behaviors (including alcohol abuse, drug experimentation, aggressive behavior / violence, cyber violence, dangerous online contacts, behavioral addictions including phonoholism) and the indication of preventive actions taken (programs, campaigns and assistance for people at the level of selective and selective

KNOWLEDGE:
•Knows risk and protective factors associated with risky behaviors of children and youth
•Provides concepts explaining risky behaviors
•Knows the objectives and direction of preventive actions.
SKILLS:
•Identifies risk factors inherent in the global environment, local, family, school, peer group and individuals,
•Selects appropriate action/preventive programs to specific risky behaviors
•Has the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out preventive activities
ATTITUDES:
•Evaluates the organization of preventive activities in the institutions (kindergarten, school) and the local environment in relation to child assessment (risk factors), working with parents, teachers and educators preparation, the possibility of implementing the programs etc.
•Recommends innovative projects/programs of working with children and family in the school and local community.

Practical placement
The subject is closely related to the implemented 60-hour institutional practice aimed at learning the forms of prevention activities aimed at children, youth, family, school and local environment.
