MS1-Ethnic art and culture 2300-MS1-ARM-KSE
To gain the knowledge on:
ethnic cultures :regional customs -singing ,dance, folk art in chosen countries from the world.We concentrate on the problems of transfer cultural heritage and intercultural dialogue , through learning of ,,others'' we can communicate and cooperate in the atmosphere of tolerance and peace with people from different countries.
We will try to answer the questions : How to find common in the world of different cultures ? How to build and expand areas of understanding and tolerance? What to do to create the culture of peace?

Students will gain the knowledge on:

Assessment criteria
The course ends with a credit for the assessment. The basis for obtaining a positive assessment is active participation in classes, taking part in discussions, on the presentation of problems and issues indicated above concerning ethnic culture, regional and intercultural education. The condition for passing the course is to prepare a presentation in the form of a paper or a multimedia presentation. The basic criterion is the active participation, the quality of the presentation and the statement.
The assessment criteria are in accordance with the general rules adopted at the University of Warsaw, also with the applicable grading scale. the Student may miss 2 classes, acceptation with grading.
