The objective of this course is to examine the intricacies surrounding competition protection within the energy sector. Special attention will be given to elucidating the influence exerted by regulatory frameworks on the development and sustainability of the energy sector. Simultaneously, the course will delve into the progressive liberalisation of competition protection approaches within this domain, while highlighting the pivotal role of law in fostering growth opportunities within the energy sector. Additionally, emphasis will be placed on exploring the contemporary role of competition law within the energy sector.
