Citizenship of the European Union;
The concept of “worker” and the right to enter another Member State, to residence and to pursue employment in another Member State;
Rights of workers’ families and other groups of persons such as self-employed persons, students, former workers and others;
The social security coverage;
Restrictions on movement and residence in the Member States;
Freedom of establishment and to provide services;
Regulations in the Polish legal system concerning citizens of the European Union;
Protection of fundamental rights;

Learning outcomes
After completion of the course Students will:
– know the rights of individuals in public international law and in the UE;
– be able to analyse legal instruments of the European Union and case-law of the Court of Justice of the European Union;
– recognize decision-making procedures in their different contexts;
– be able to explain mechanisms of functioning of the European Union rules connected with the rights of individuals.
