Family and guardianship law - workshops 2200-1W117N
During the workshops, students perform basic tasks related to the practical application of law, such as, for example, solving case studies (in a formula as close as possible to real family law cases), analyzing prepared family case files, preparing draft pleadings, justifying judgments, etc.
The basic elements practiced during the classes will be:
1) matrimonial matters (such as property regimes, divorce, separation, marriage annulment)
2) matters of determining the child's origin (establishing and contradicting paternity, establishing the ineffectiveness of paternity recognition);
3) maintenance matters;
4) matters concerning the parental responsibility,
5) matters concerning the regulation of contacts with a child,
6) cases for issuing a person subject to parental authority,
7) matters of adoption,
8) cases for the appointment of a guardian.
Workshop activities may include, for example, mock trials in family matters or meetings with practitioners (judges of family divisions of common courts), etc.
Possible simulations of a court case will be prepared by the teacher with the students during the classes; they may require writing, writing and learning the script, etc.
