The detailed scope of matters taken up at the classes reflects current civil law problems emerging in jurisprudential practice and reviewed in literature.
As a result, the subjects reviewed at the classes vary.
The subjects reviewed belong to the following branches of law:

6) intellectual property law,

Learning outcomes
Thanks to methodical and systematic participation in the work within the framework of the seminar the student:
a) expands his/her knowledge of the theory of the subject of the seminar, indispensable for properly grasping its fabric, and also for applying for legal internships (for would-be judges, bailiffs, legal counsels, notaries and prosecutors);
b) acquaints himself with selected examples from court practice, which enable him/her to properly identify the legal issues encountered in civil cases; this is useful for obtaining a general orientation regarding the specific features of practicing the legal profession.
Assessment criteria
Grade based on attendance and involvement in seminars and the quality of the master’s thesis presented.
Furthermore, the presentation shown at the classed (e.g., on selected master’s thesis subjects) is also taken into account in the final grade.

Literature and jurisprudence are recommended to students before each class, depending on the scope of the given assignment.
Additionally, each student gets to know the literature which is indispensable for preparing the master’s thesis on the chosen subject.
