Seminar on aviation and space law 2200-1F106
As part of international aviation law, key issues that make up the three systems that make up it will be discussed - Chicago-Bilateral, Warsaw-Montreal and Tokyo-Hague-Montreal-Beijing (international criminal aviation law - aviation terrorism). The process of liberalization of air transport in the European Union will also be presented. They are discussed, among others. licensing rules for air carriers, their access to routes within the European Union, air fares and the allocation of operating times at airports. The issues of application of competition law in air transport are also discussed.
As part of international space law, the legal status of space, the rules of operation of states and other entities in this environment, and legal aspects of the use of satellite techniques will be discussed.

Students after the seminar
-they know the basic terms of international air and space law;
- explain the most important mechanisms of these branches of law;
-they are able to indicate the most common methods of implementing these branches of law into national legal systems;
- indicate the most important directions of influence of this branch of law on further development of international law;
-they know and understand the relationship between international aviation law and space law.
- are able to indicate which standards of international aviation law are applicable in the process of creating space law;
- they are able to assess in what factual circumstances it is necessary to refer to particular legal systems and in what factual circumstances specific legal remedies should be used.
