Learning outcomes
After finishing of the course Introduction to Law, student:
(Knowledge)
-Explains the scope of legal science and identifies main branches of law
-Defines basic concepts of law
-Is familiar with methodology of legal science
-identifies the main world legal systems/traditions and indicates differences between them
(Skills)
-Solves simple legal cases
-Uses legal terms
-Uses legal acts and analyzes and interprets them
(Competences)
-Is prepared to start studies of the second degree
-Understands the necessity of constant learning and refreshing legal knowledge
-Is aware of different opinions on interpretation of legal regulations
Assessment criteria
Final assessment is based on :
a) tests and case studies ( 5 classes available on the Kampus Platform)) - 50 %),
b) in-class participation, including in – class presentations (20%)
c) a final written exam (30%).
In order to get credits, the participants are required to get 51 % of total points for the entire course, pass the final exam and tests from class available on the Kampus Platform, and participate in 5 on-line classes.
