After completing the course the student will:
Knowledge:
- Recognize the mechanisms and instruments of action multilateral trading system
- Understand the basic theories and issues related to international trade relations
- Knows the rules of operation of the GATT and the WTO
- Have comprehensive knowledge of contemporary international trade
Skills:
- Identifies key issues and the essence of international trade relations,
- Knows how to extract the advantages and disadvantages of the WTO,
- Can define the interests of the major players in trade,
Competencies:
- The student is prepared to work in the institutions dealing with issues of international trade, is aware of the ongoing changes in the global economy
- Is able to prepare and analyze a chosen research problem
- Can analyze the trade policy of a selected country
