The subject concerns issues related to security in the Euro-Atlantic area - the concept, concept and its evolution, specificity, dynamics of competition and cooperation, subjects, forms and mechanisms of multilateral cooperation and the most important defining the related phenomena. It aims to help students to gain basic knowledge of these issues and the ability to independently analyze phenomena connected with regional aspects of security.

Learning outcomes
Each participant knows and understands the concepts and thematic contexts related to Euro-Atlantic security and its subject and regional dimensions. He knows and is able to analyze the substantive content related to these issues and independently verify and search for sources of knowledge. He/she is able to perform basic thematic analyses connected with international security issues.
