Designing social services 2103-L-D5PUSP
The aim of the workshop is to acquire by students the knowledge about social services and how to design them. The course will review the literature in this subject, legal regulations, methods, tools and concepts used in designing services: human centreed design , design thinking , service design . The workshop agenda includes theory and practice.
Students will learn about the stages of the design. They have the opportunity to participate in each stage while creating their own mini-projects (tasks performed in groups of 2–3 students).
The workshop covers the specificity of social services in social policy. It also takes into account family policy, family support, foster care system, social assistance, health protection, suport for people with disabilities, public education, unemployment, physical culture and tourism, stimulating civic activity, housing, environmental protection, professional and social reintegration.
