Learning outcomes
KNOWLEDGE
K_W01 – The student has general knowledge of the relationship between law and political science and recognizes the place of legal sciences in the area of social sciences.
K_W04 – The student knows and understands selected legal phenomena in the Polish dimension, as well as the importance of law for the functioning of the political system in Poland and the evolution of law in relation to the evolution of the state (the role of law in a police state, then in a state of law, then in a democratic state of law).
K_W06 – The student has knowledge of various normative systems and their connections with the system of legal norms, and also understands the impact of social conditions on the way of creating and interpreting legal provisions.
K_W08 – The student knows and understands the basic concepts and principles of intellectual property and copyright protection
SKILLS
K_U04 – The student is able to indicate and explain the principles and values of a democratic state of law as one of the stages of the development of the state and law (from the formal to the material dimension of the rule of law).
K_U07 – The student is able to use legal standards in the area related to public activity.
K_U08 – The student is able to independently acquire knowledge regarding the content of applicable legal provisions and is able to use electronic legal information systems.
COMPETENCES
K_K01 – The student is ready to use knowledge of legal provisions to achieve political goals while actively participating in public life.
Assessment criteria
The exam takes the form of a written test in the form of a test with one correct answer based on a list of questions provided to students.
