Security of digital resources 2102-BW-L-D6BZCY
The subject studies are intended to present a wide spectrum of issues related to securing digital resources, including hygiene of users' behavior in the network, as well as methods of technical systems protection. In addition, knowledge is transferred in the field of potential threats to digital systems and resources, including types of technical threats as well as hacker or hacktivistic groups as real entities responsible for carrying out activities in cyberspace. As part of the course, students also learn the basics of anonymised networks such as TOR as well as acquire basic knowledge of OSINT in order to show where to find information in open sources and thus how to protect their data on the Internet to be as little visible to outsiders as possible. As part of the course, students also learn basic strategic and normative documents, both in Poland and international.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student has knowledge about the threats to the functioning of the modern state and society and theirs
transformations (e.g. organized crime, terrorism, cyber threats and methods and mechanisms of counteracting them (K_W07). Has knowledge of the attributes and mechanisms a modern state (primarily a democratic state), the functioning of which has partially moved to cyberspace, with particular emphasis on the authorities responsible for creating policy security, specialized security institutions cyberspace CERT, NASK etc. (K_W06).
The student knows the general principles of creating and developing forms of individual entrepreneurship with the use of knowledge in the field of social sciences, with particular emphasis on knowledge of security in cyberspace (K_W11). The student has the ability to understand the causes and course as well as to forecast and predict threats to cyberspace (K_U02). Has the ability to collect, prioritize, process and present information in the field of security in cyberspace (K_U04). The student is able to identify and define the basic priorities, to counteract threats to the functioning social structures, the state and its order in cyberspace (K_K01).
Assessment criteria
Assessment is carried out on the basis of several factors: individual work (activity), group work (tasks and workshop exercises in groups), final assessment.
