- asses critically the main processes in global politics and indicate the relations and interdependencies among these processes (K_K03)
Assessment criteria
Activity Assessment: 40% - components: participation in class (15%) and presentation at class (25%)
Academic essay written in class (handwriting!!!): 60%
Details about the topic, length of the presentation and the essay will be available on the Kampus site.
Preliminary conditions for the assessment:
Participation: The student must participate in at least 60% of classes to be evaluated. The student has a right to 2 absences without announcement and justification. More unexcused absences will lower the grade. If student does not meet this criterion - will be evaluated in the retake.
Course Expectations:
You are expected to do the following:
Attend all classes since class discussion is central to the course. (2 absences accepted)
Prepare for class by reading the assigned material. Well-prepared students are crucial for the success of the class.
Prepare the presentation to be orally presented in class according to the scheduled agenda announced at the beginning of the course. The file with the presentation must be submitted to the Campus website. An oral presentation without submission of the written form gives you only 55% of the score for this activity.
Write the essay on the given topic - INCLASS (handwriting).
Passing threshold: 55%
Grading scale:
55 % and more : 3 (passing/satisfactory)
65 % and more: 3+
75 %and more: 4 (good)
85 % and more: 4+
91 % and more: 5 (very good)
