The course will include:
1. Selection of a research area in the field of cybersecurity for the implementation of the project.
2. Identification of the research problem in the selected area.
3. Development of project assumptions, including: identification of the project objective and definition of research problems.
4. Determination of methods and techniques necessary to implement the project assumptions.
5. Preparation of the scope of work to be performed. Identification of tasks.
6. Implementation of project tasks.
7. Presentation of the results of the project.

Learning outcomes
Knowledge, the student knows and understands:
- the essence, place and importance of cybersecurity in relation to other areas of knowledge (K_W01),
- methods, research techniques and description tools used in cybersecurity; the student is able to apply them in the implementation of projects in the area of IT security (K_W02),
- importance of cybersecurity for social security (K_W03),
- methods of diagnosis, analysis, assessment and risk of cyber threats (K_W05).
Skills, the student is able to:
- use the acquired knowledge to carry out project tasks (K_U01),
- analyze situations that pose a risk of cyber threats and use the acquired knowledge to eliminate the risk (K_U02).
Social competencies, the student is ready to:
- spread knowledge on reducing the risk of cyber threats (K_K01),
- use the acquired knowledge to build responsible attitudes in society regarding the use of cyberspace (K_K03).
