Problems of contemporary climatology 1900-ERASMUS-PPC
The following topics will be discussed during the course:
- Influence of climate on work and living conditions in urban area.
- Light pollution as a new trend in climatological research.
- Climatological conditions for the development of renewable energy sources.
- Air quality in urban areas.
- Heat waves in Europe - more intense, more fequent and longer lasting in 21st century.
- The impact of climate change on agriculture.
We will start with a discussion about the most important climatological problems in the modern world. After the discussion, the participants will be able to propose their own topics that they would like to take up during the classes.
