During the second semester seminar, students present the progress of their work topic. They prepare, present and discuss at least one paper (most often: the schedule of the research task, the current status of implementation, plans for the near future).

After completing the course in the subject - Master's Seminar
the student knows and understands:
- in an in-depth manner, selected methods, techniques and tools used to solve complex tasks in the field of spatial management, including data acquisition techniques and modeling of spatial structures and processes, as well as identifying the regularities governing them (K_W06)
- basic concepts and principles of industrial property and copyright protection and the need to manage intellectual property resources (K_W10)
- selected methods, techniques and tools used to solve complex tasks in the field of urban planning and revitalization, including data acquisition techniques and modeling of spatial structures and processes, as well as identifying the regularities governing them (S2_W06)
- principles of industrial property and copyright protection and the need to manage intellectual property resources (S2_W10)
Student is able to:
- assess the usefulness and effectiveness of theories and methods for solving problems in the field of spatial management (K_U05)
- obtain and critically select data from literature, databases and other sources, also in a foreign language. Is able to integrate the information obtained, interpret it and critically analyze the effectiveness and usefulness of the knowledge used, as well as draw conclusions and formulate comprehensively justify opinions. Has the ability to use the acquired knowledge to conduct research in various scopes and forms, as well as to determine directions for further expansion of knowledge through the process of self-education (K_U09)
- prepare and present oral presentations, in Polish and a foreign language, on specific issues in the field of spatial management or on the border with related scientific disciplines (K_U10)
- assess the usefulness and effectiveness of theories and methods for solving problems in the field of urban planning and revitalization (S2_U05)
- obtain and critically select data, integrate the information obtained, interpret it and critically analyze the effectiveness and usefulness of the knowledge used, draw conclusions and formulate and fully justify opinions. Is able to use the acquired knowledge to conduct research, as well as directions for further expansion in the field of urban planning, revitalization and reclamation (S2_U09)
- prepare and present oral presentations on issues related to urban planning and revitalization or related scientific disciplines (S2_U10)
- prepare written studies, presentations and speeches in Polish and foreign languages (S2_U11)
- use selected IT tools that are necessary when preparing documentation in the field of urban planning and revitalization (S2_U12)
The student is ready to:
- independently and critically supplement knowledge and skills, using interdisciplinary research approaches (K_K02)
- lifelong learning, presents an attitude of continuous improvement of one's own conceptual skills, deepening knowledge and skills, personal development, also being able to inspire and organize the learning process of other people (K_K03)
