Attitudes and Behaviours of People in Geographical Studies 1600-SZD-SPEC-PZ-GSE
The purpose of the course is to acquaint students with the behavioral approach, which can be an important complement to other research approaches used in socio-economic geography. Referring to the research interests of students, attention will be focused on selected issues, such as perception of space and human behaviour in space (cities), social attitudes towards various phenomena, social problems and conflicts, etc. In addition, methods of research and analysis, and presentation of results will be presented. Subsequently, students will be required to prepare and present a mini-project of research taking into account the purpose and objectives of the research, the validity of the behavioral approach, the proposed methods of research and ways of presenting the results. Each of the presented projects will be discussed in class.
