Legal and ethical bases of research 1600-SZD-N-PEPBN
The aim of the course is to prepare doctoral students to conduct scientific research independently, taking into account the applicable legal standards and ethical principles. The course is centered around three thematic blocks concerning: i. statutory solutions concerning procedures of obtaining scientific degrees, ii. ethical rules of conducting scientific research; iii. copyright law in scientific and research work (including in the context of OpenAccess).

Assessment criteria

One absence per course cycle is permitted. In order to facilitate active participation in the lecture, it is recommended that doctoral students familiarise themselves with the literature in advance.
