Ethical challenges in humanities research 1500-E-2024L
The aim of the course is to present selected issues in academic ethics, taking into account its role in contemporary moral thinking. Concrete examples of the application of ethical principles in practice will be discussed in class. Through analysis of research projects and case studies, we will address topics such as informed consent, right to withdraw from research, vulnerability of research participants, access and dissemination, copyrights, image right, right to privacy, personal data protection, memory cult of a deceased person, respect for diversity, protection of cultural heritage.
