Natural resource, natural environment. Environmental problems: local, regional, global. Sustainable development - ecological use of natural resource. States' ecological policies.
Rules and principles in environmental impact assessment; environmental management systems (EMS) (ISO 14001, EMAS, BSI). Categories of onerousness of industrial investment and industrial objects (evaluation at the design stage, the investment and during operation of the object) . Base of sozotechnique negotiation. Quality of localization and technology. Calculation methods for preparing EIA reports. Maximum impact. EIA reports for selected industries (mining, metallurgical, energy), communications, construction and others. Principles of developing EIAs. Principles for issuing a decision requiring the compliance with the EIA (integrated permits,control systems). Procedures of environmental risk assessment in economy and policy.

Assessment criteria
Assessment is based on the exam, which deals with all matters mentioned during lectures and class (60% of correct answers is needed to pass the exam). Furthermore in order to pass the class module, it is necessary to prepare 2 seminars during the semester .
