The use of IT methods in the process of preparing and verifying documentation 1300-SP-WMIWD
During the lecture, the student learns the basic issues and conditions of graphic data processing using limited hardware resources and specialized programs:
- discussion of the minimum amount of data necessary to perform graphical analyses,
- determination of the most frequently used reference systems and data transposition between them,
- possibility of connection with external WMS,
- obtaining open source data,
- examples of methods for interpolating data on hydrogeological and hydrogeochemical parameters,
- assessing the reliability of data.
The aim of the exercises is to use theoretical knowledge to create graphic attachments:
- presentation of the ion balance, hydrochemical type of water, relating chemical results to the location of sampling points,
- preparation of maps of the distribution of characteristics and concentrations of substances found in water,
- preparation of maps of the distribution of hydrogeological parameters,
- performing geostatistical analyzes and determining the uncertainty of these distributions,
- transfer of spatial data between various programs.
