Geoenvironmental Modelling 1300-OMGP-GES
The course covers the following topics:
- Creation of vector objects (Corel Draw). Raster and vector drawing. Precise drawing. Creation of thematic layers. Drawing maps and cross-sections using the acquainted tools.
- Spatial Analysis of geoenvironmental data (Surfer 8).
Digitization of data, creation of maps and 3-D models of the terrain surface. Interpretation of spatial relationships using variogram analysis.
- Statistical analysis of geoenvironmental data, determination of distribution types, standardization of measurements, testing hypotheses, e.g. testing the conformity of empirical distribution with normal distribution, testing the significance of the correlation coefficient. Optimizing of data using Solver.
