Fieldcourse on the geomorphology and quaternary geology 1300-OKMQ2L1
Presentation of the theoretical issues in the field.
Training in interpretation of geomorphology (e.g. morainic uplands, valley terraces etc.) known from the analysis of the hypsometric maps.
Presentation and analysis of the major types of Quaternary deposits in the field (site description, lithological analysis, sedimentological description etc.).
Training in interpretation of the specified relief and its relation to the specified type of deposits.
Presentation of the methodology used during the fieldwork. Interpretation of the different geological facts and creation of logic conclusions.
Presentation of the geomorphology and Quaternary geology of central and eastern Poland.

- infer the relation between deposits and forms
- realize major measurements in the field
- realize and interpret results of the shallow drillings by hand-probe
- realize and interpret simple cross section made on the basis of information collected in the field
- describe the outline of the geology and geomorphology of central and eastern Poland
