Identification and description of the major Tertiary deposits, characteristic for the Polish Lowland
Identification and description of the Quaternary glacial deposits Identification and description of the Quaternary interglacial deposits
Identification and description of the slope and diluvial deposits
Cognition the geomorphological forms in the river valleys
Cognition the geomorphological forms in the morainic uplands
Cognition the geomorphological forms in the mountains
Realization of the geomorphological maps of the specified areas in the Polish Lowland
Realization of the geological cross sections
Realization of the geomorphological maps of the specified mountain areas Interpretation of the geological cross sections in the lowlands
Interpretation of the geological cross sections in the mountains.

Learning outcomes
Student can identify and describe the major Quaternary deposits. Student can identify, describe and interpret geomorphological forms. Student has a basic knowledge required for understanding and correct interpretation of the geological maps and cross sections. Student can realize simple geological maps, cross sections and profiles.
Assessment criteria
Classes - 2 absences per semester allowed, retake test - written test covering all issues presented during classes.
