Theoretical basics of geological Remote Sensing – aerial photos, satellite imagery and radar data interpretation. Geological interpretation of DEMs.
Practice of classical methods of geological interpretation of aerial photos, especially of areas without Quaternary cover. Simple photogrammetric measurements (scale of photo, distances, relative attitudes). Geological interpretation of satellite imagery, aerial SAR, and DEMs.

Learning outcomes
After a lecture student have knowledge about theoretical basics of geological RS on different kinds of imagery. After a tutorial student have practical skills in analyzing 3D (stereoscopic) aerial photos from different parts of Poland, satellite (Landsat) and aerial SAR imagery (Carpathian Mts.), and DEMs from any area with sufficient data.
Assessment criteria
Allowed number of absences: 1.
Grade based on executed works. Improper works should be repeated.
